Anna is growing faster than almost anywhere in North Texas, and the plumbing calls follow the building: brand new homes in Sherley Farms, ten to fifteen year old homes in Avery Pointe, and older properties near downtown and US-75. Genzel Plumbing is a McKinney company a few miles south, family owned since 2001, licensed and insured under Texas license RMP-23766.
Avery Pointe. Homes here are 10 to 15 years old and entering their first big maintenance window. Water heater replacement, faucet repair and drain cleaning are the most common calls.
Sherley Farms. New construction. Even new homes benefit from a plumbing inspection and a water softener before the builder warranty runs out, because Collin County water is hard from day one.
Downtown Anna and the older streets. Older homes may still have galvanized supply lines and cast iron sewer systems. Whole home pipe inspections, sewer camera inspections and water heater replacement are the usual work here.
Plumbing repairs. Supply line leaks, running toilets, pipe repairs in older homes. We assess the system, not just the symptom. Plumbing repairs
Water heater repair. Anna's early-2010s construction wave is hitting the replacement window for its original builder heaters. Not every one needs replacing; we tell you which. Water heater repair
Water heater installation. Tank and tankless, sized for the house, permitted, financing available. Water heater installation
Tankless water heaters. Install, repair, descale. Tankless water heaters
Drain cleaning. Grease in kitchen drains, hair in bathroom drains, roots in the sewer lines of older Anna homes. Cleared, and inspected by camera when it recurs. Drain cleaning
Slab leak repair. Same clay soil as the rest of the county. We evaluate the problem before we cut. Slab leak repair
Water filtration. Whole home filtration and softening. In a new build this is the single upgrade that protects everything downstream of it. Water filtration systems
A lot of what we do in Anna is not emergency work. It is the annual visit that stops the emergency: flushing and inspecting tank and tankless water heaters, testing water quality, clearing slow drains before they stop, checking toilets for the silent leaks that show up on the water bill, checking water pressure, and looking at the exterior hose bibs before the first freeze. For an older home near downtown we add a camera look at the drain lines and a check of the supply piping.
If you would rather not think about scheduling it, the Genzel Guardian Plan does it for you: one flush, one inspection and one water quality test a year, 15 percent off every service call, no dispatch fees and appointments within 24 hours Monday to Friday, for $27 a month or $282 a year.
Options and prices before we start (Good, Better, Best), a warranty on the work, and arrival updates so you are not stuck at home waiting.
My house is new. Why would I need a plumber already? Builder-grade fittings and fixtures are built to a price, and hard water starts working on them the day you move in. An inspection before the warranty expires catches the things the builder should fix.
Do you cover Anna on emergency calls? Yes. Call (972) 238-5585; emergencies go to the front of the queue and we tell you the next arrival window when you call.
We also serve McKinney, Melissa, Van Alstyne, Celina, Prosper and Gunter. All service areas.
